PERSONAL CHEF / HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST
Hi there! My name is Mim, and it is with great joy that I welcome you to my world of healthy and nutritious eating!
My passion for food has brought me all over the world in many different capacities. I worked on a coffee farm in Hawaii, studied food anthropology in Toronto, and taught cooking classes to elementary school kids in Vancouver.
I come from a family of cooks, where making each other food is the way we express our love. For many years after university I worked as a farmer, and loved learning to cultivate food from just seeds, soil, and the sun. I received my Registered Holistic Nutritionist designation at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where I also achieved a Holistic Culinary Certification.
Nutrition brings together all my interests, passions, and experiences. I am dedicated to finding food and menus that are individualized to your body and its needs! Still an avid food grower, I use local, organic, and seasonal ingredients sourced ethically and prepared with love and care.
I am a firm believer in a food-first approach to nutrition, and my cooking reflects this, by including whole foods which are mostly organic.
